If there was a black chest there would have to be a black key. There is no black key.

There are still a couple chests I know of that do not require keys, for example, the ones in Dreadnought's Drift. One drops armor there, the other drops weapons. They're pretty crappy though, being mostly blues or whites.

Why bring up this chest if you don't want the location revealed? People are curious you know.

I have never heard of a "balck chest"
I dont get why the OP would want just a yes or no answer and no location. By not wanting people to reveal the location would mean he must already know it or know some one who knows it. If he knew the location then he could go check it out for himself. By checking it would completely answer his question.
Also even IF it did exist im certain anet has nerfed just like the Dreadnoughts lost chest. In which case it would have nothing but crappy drops anyway, that in turn would make it a useless chest. So no one would care IF it existed anyway, other than for the point of knowing it exists
So im gonna have to say this "black chest" is 100% fake, and the OP is just trying to get attention.

The OP wants to find it himself if it exists, he just wants confirmation that his time won't be wasted. His time will be wasted as the chests appear randomly each time you enter a map, whether or not this black chest exists. He could quite possibly spend a month plus looking for it and never find it.

false. ever heard of the frozen chest, or the lost strongbox? they dont take any keys. the black chest could very likely be real, just not revealed so commonly yet.

ok, before i get any more requests from people to pm them the location (which is, in and of itself, an interesting request), i just want to say that i only said that to mess with the OP.
no, i do not know where the black chest is nor do i know of its existence. nor do i care.
however, i really didn't want to call out the OP but his request really was very selfish. i know there is no flaming allowed on these boards, so i suggest that this thread is closed. he asks for people to help him confirm something, yet he will not offer any help in return with regards to additional information. these boards are a place for free discussion. if you want to keep something a secret, then don't post it at all. if the OP is so unwilling to share the information with the general public, what makes him think anyone would share their information with him?
that goes for the rest of you "pm me the location" people. you should be ashamed of yourselves. what makes you special enough to receive information via pm rather than asking for the location to be posted publicly?
